Society 1858 Walk & Talk Tour: Cinco De Mayo

Cinco de Mayo is a celebration of Mexico's victory over the French at the battle of Puebla in 1862. On this holiday we will explore international influences, colonialism and war on Charleston's history, art, and architecture. The tour will begin at The Gibbes Museum, where Tyler has selected pieces in the collection to highlight. Tyler will then lead the group around town concluding at the rooftop of 28 Broad Street where margaritas will be served, courtesy of Patron.

Please wear comfortable walking shoes as the tour will last for approximately 2 hours with a few opportunities for restroom stops along the way. Space is extremely limited.
